I recemtly participated in an early Christmas Ornament Exchange with the
HOE group. My partner was
Becky K and she emailed me last night to say she received the ornament I made for her. Becky said she loved the ornament I made for her and that the cat on it looks like her Tobie ;) The design I stitched was from the Prairie Schooler book called Barnyard Christmas. I stitched it on 32ct oyster linen and used the DMC called for in the design. I finished it as directed in the book as well. This is the first round ornament I have made. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Of course it helps when your DH is a carpenter and can measure & cut perfect circles LOL I even have trouble cutting a straight line so he helps me on that most of the time too :)
I told Becky that I laughed when I saw she was my partner for this exchange. You see Becky and I are on a lot of the same exchange groups and lately we seem to keep getting eachother to exchange with. Works for both of us as we love what we have exchanged with eachother ;)
darn glue spot on the back :(
Thank you so much for visiting my blog!
