My ABC Exchange Arrived!! Yeah!!

So it is STILL raining here in Florida ;( It has been days now! This was the first 4th of July I can remember in a long time that it rained all day. Sure we are in our rainy season now and it rains almost daily, but the rain usually only happends in the late afternoon/evening. This has been almost all day rain and gloom.
But we still had a little fun last night :)  DH bought a few fireworks to keep Kenny jr happy :) Kenny & I stood under cover while my  DH was out in the rain setting off the fireworks lol

I just heard from Patti  who was my partner in the HOE ABC Exchange that she received the piece I made her :) Yeah!! I always worry when I send something out of the country that it will go missing.
Patti said she loves what I sent her and that red is her favorite color!
I stitched Cross Stitch Sampler by Marika Belfiori which can be found Here on her blog. I used 32ct natural linen and DMC 815 & blanc. I also used some white seed beads where there was french knots. My french knots leave a lot to be desired lol
I really loved stitching & finishing this piece for Patti! I am so glad she loves it :)

I have one more exchange out so I am just waiting to hear from my partner when she receives it so I can post it here.

Today I am going to attempt to finish up LHN's Travelling Stitcher. I have both pieces completely stitched. I just have to attach them to the project keeper and needlebook.  For me this is the hardest part :)
I am also stitching another piece for an exchange. I think I have spent more time frogging it than anything! I am not sure why I messed it up in the first place but I finally figured out where I went wrong .......sigh! All is well now and I am almost done with it.

Until next time!

I saw your ABC exchange on Patti's blog and LOVED it! Fabulous finishing too. I too swap French knots for beads...I gave up on French knots years ago!

So pretty and beautifully stitched.I like the addition of beads instead of french knots also.
