Last week I posted the lovely ornament I received from Kay. I heard from her that she received the ornament I sent her so now I can show it to you.
I stitched "Merry Christmas from Log Cabin Needleworks on 28ct DMC linen with the DMC colors called for in the design. I did however make a small change by replacing the stitched berries with seed beads.
Kay said she absolutely loves it and it has inspired her to try beading on her needlework :)
I also heard from Lynn B that she received the Halloween Scissor Fob I sent to her for the HOE exchange. I stitched the little witch from Mary Garry's Seasonal Momentos 4 "October" I stitched it on 28ct evenweave with the DMC threads called for in the design. I found a package of these adorable pumpkin bells in my buttons/charms box that I received from an exchange some time ago. I had forgotten I had them and just happened upon them and figured it would be perfect for Lynn's fob. It even jingles!
I am so glad that Lynn loved it! I really had fun making this for her.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

I am stitching the Merry Christmas design as we type! Love your finish.
Ah, your Halloween fob is too cute. Love it.
Two cute finishes!
Both exchanges pieces are lovely Lisa.
Both of these are very lovely, but I adore the witch, and how you used the plaid ribbon ruched around the edge.
Very nice ornaments for the exchnages. And so creatively finished.
Wonderful exchange pieces Lisa!
It's beautiful!! I love the Merry Christmas design!!
Oh Lisa, those two are just adorable! They turned out really well.
Great finishes! I love the way you used the ribbon on the little witch finish...very effective!
