A Few Finishes

I mentioned that I have been busy stitching since the beginning of the year mostly for exchanges but I happend to sneak in a few for me :)  Yesterday I finally had a chance to finish them off. One I had forgotten I even stitched lol
Here is Love by BOAF. I stitched it on 28ct DMC linen and used the GAST threads called for. See the lovely rose pin in the top?? I had received that from Mare in the BBD exchange recently and thought it was perfect for this piece! Thanks Again Mare!
I finished it into an easel style which is new for me. I also finished a couple of my exchanges this way recently and I LOVE making them!  I used the tutorial from Cross Stitch Plus . Just go to their website and click on the "How to/Reference" tab on the left. They also have a bunch of other tutorials listed.
I think this is such a nice way to finish a piece that you would want to display. The best part is that it folds so nicely for storage.

This next one is "Love Me" from Primitive Betty and the freebie chart can be found on her blog. Just follow the link to her freebies.
This is stitched on 28ct white jobelan with DMC 349 (I think lol)

Last but not least Here is Primitive Winter Cupboard Sampler by The Sampler Girl . It can be found in her Valentine booklet.I stitched it on 32ct Queen Annes Lace Jobelan with DMC threads. I did change a few of the colors from what was called for to what looked better on this color fabric.

I am still waiting to hear if the exchanges I sent have reached their destinations. As soon as I hear I will post them here.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
