Quaker Ornament Received By Jen

I just heard from Jen that she received the Quaker Ornament I sent her for the HOE Perpetual Ornament Exchange.
I stitched Quaker Noel by Legacy Designs for her which is in the 2010 JCS Ornament Issue. I used 30ct Gardeners Blend Linen by R&R and the DMC threads listed for the design. I finished it off as a stuffed ornament.
I am so glad Jen liked it as I really enjoyed stitching and finishing this for her.

I  mailed out my private exchange to Lisa V last week so I am hoping it will arrive to her soon! That darn FROG decided to visit while I was stitching her exchange and it really set me back. I also tried a new (for me anyway) finish on her piece. So it took a couple tries and the help of my wonderful DH to get it just right. I am so excited for her to receive it and I really hope she likes it :)

I mailed out my LK exchange and hopefully that should be received today as it didn't have far to go. Lizzie Kates are always so fun to stitch!

Not much else going on here. I plan on stitching this entire weekend. DH is installing a new tile floor next door this weekend for our neighbors. It is a large area which entails their kitchen, living room dining room and hallway so that will keep him and DS out of my hair this weekend lol DS is his little helper ;)

We had a cold front move through last night so our humidity is way down and the temps are suppose to be in the mid 80's this weekend with lots of sunshine. I may just sit out on my lanai and stitch while listening to what they are now calling "Retro Rock"  I guess I am now officially listening to Oldies LOL

Have a good weekend! And Thanks so much for stopping by!
