Easter SAL Pt 5 & 6 LHN Cherries

I finally have a chance to post! Actually I started posting earlier this morning but then got a phone call from my DS that he needed new socks as his got wet! I asked him how they got wet and he reminded me that they did the Relay For Life walk at school this morning and the grass in the field was wet. Poor little guy!

Anyway before something else happens let me post what I came here to post! lol
Here is part 5 & 6 of my Easter SAL. I am really enjoying this one. Tonight I will receive part 7 which I am looking forward to.

Here is Cherries by LHN which I finished stitching a few weeks ago but just put it all together the other day. I stitched it on 28ct Antique white evenweave using the overdyed threads that were included.  I was going to make it into a flat fold but then decided on a small pillow. I may just have to stitch it again and make a flat fold. I have watermelon & strawberries from this series and after doing this one I can't wait to work on them.

Although you can't see it so well I used a cherry print fabric. I was so happy to find that! And I just noticed that the buttons are turned in the picture I posted :( Oh well you get the idea lol

Well the weekend is upon us again!  DH & I have a few things to work on in the yard then it is on to pressure washing the lanai. DS loves doing that so that will be his job!

Sunday is my second to last Butterfly Club meeting for the year. We don't meet in June, July or August. Not sure who our guest speaker will be this month but it is always interesting and informative. Next month the plant lady comes. I love those meetings as she brings a whole bunch of gorgeous butterfly plants which you can buy. I am hoping she brings some Coneflowers. I have a gorgeous one in my front flower bed and I want another in a different color for my backyard.
Which reminds me that I have to get my Fennel seeds started today. I have one huge fennel plant left and after seeing how much the Eastern Black Swallwtails eat I know I need a lot more! I can never seem to find fennel plants started in the nursery centers. It's like the forgotten herb lol

Have a Great weekend everyone!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

I love your Easter SAL. As I have my hands full with a new baby this Easter, I'm going to have to do my Easter stitching vicariously through you!
