I stitched Prairie Schooler's "S is for Spring" for her. I remember seeing this one stitched on Mylene's blog and always loved it and thought this would be perfect for the exchange. Thanks Mylene!
I think I stitched it on 28ct antique white evenweave and used the DMC threads called for. I also finiahed it off with seed beads around the edge.
I am so glad Elisa loved it as I really enjoyed stitching and finishing it for her :)

It has been very hot here this past week. Sunny & in the 90's! We are suppose to get a front in over the weekend and supposedly the temperatures will be in the mid 80's after that. That is more like it for this time of year.
The school year is almost over! I can't believe how fast it went. My son's school does a game called ABC Countdown -the last 26 days of school. Each school day has a different theme depending on the letter of the day. They do wear school uniforms but on certain days during this game they are allowed to forgo the uniform. The first day was the letter "Z" and they had to wear black & white like a zebra. Today is the letter "R" and they have to wear red. My son's least favorite day out of all the letters is the letter "Q" day. That day is Queen Day and the girls make the rules and can wear a Tiara. Last year my son's teacher went a bit overboard on what rules the girls could make. I secretly think she didn't like the boys LOL My son is hoping this year will be better as he has a male teacher :) We shall see tomorrow as it will be "Q" day :) The boy's will get their turn to make the rules when they get to the letter "K" which is King for a Day.

ABC countdown sounds like great fun. LOL on the Q day. Can't wait to hear what they did this year. Woud love to narrate it to my daughter :)
