So Here Is What I Made...

for my exchange partners! I mentioned being in the mood to make flat folds so that is what I did.
 I heard from Kathy yesterday that she received the HOE Valentines Day exchange I sent her and that she loved it! I stitched "Valentine" by Primitive Betty for her. I used 28ct white even weave and DMC 221 & 3021. I had stitched this sweet design for myself before but finished it into a pin pillow. I think I may stitch it again and do a flat fold as I really loved how it looked. I also included a few milk bone treats for Kathy's gorgeous Rory from my 2 dog's Tyler & Goober. Kathy said when she had bought milk bones for Rory in the past he wouldn't eat them but when he received the ones from me he gobbled them up! LOL  Reminds me of a child that won't eat something at home but goes out somewhere else and will eat it lol too funny!

 I also heard from Sarah that she received the Seasonal Exchange Winter piece I made for her and she loves it! I stitched "Snowflake" by Twisted Threads for her. The pattern is one of three in their book "Winter Trio". I used 28ct DMC linen and the GAST threads called for. I had bought this "snowball" looking trim a few months ago and have been dying to use it. I thought it went well with the theme of the design.

 So 3 out of 4 of the exchanges I mailed have arrived to their destination. The last one is travelling to The Netherlands so hopefully she will receive it next week sometime.

 I've been working on MLQ and have finished the design part completely. I started on the alphabet last night but didn't get far. I will take a picture later on and post my progress tomorrow. The end is really in sight!
