Exchange Received From Ellen

Today I received the most gorgeous pin cushion from Ellen in Singapore!! We were both in the HOE exchange "For the Birds" in which you had to stitch any design as long as there was a bird in it. Ellen stitched for me a pattern from Carol D on 28ct cashel using DMC threads. Ellen said she has never finished a pin cushion in this way before but it came out absolutely PERFECT!! I never would have known!  Her stitching is also absolutely perfect and I love the colors and backing fabric she chose. Ellen also included a little thimble which says "Singapore" and has some little pictures on it of things that represent her country. She also sent me a beautiful post card which shows the beautiful place she lives! Maybe one day I will see it in person :)
