Working On A UFO

About a year ago I started working on Grande ABECEDAIRE sampler by Claire of Gazette94. Then I discovered the world of Exchange groups and decided to take a break from this. Everytime I go into my stitching closet I see the black & white pillow case I have it in and I say "I REALLY have to finish working on that!!" LOL So about a week or so ago I pulled it out and have been slowly working on it. I had all of what you see here done except only half of the squirrel. Now he is complete and I am working on the design around him.
I am using stretcher bars, so after I am done with the squirrel square I have to shift my fabric and then I can continue on. I really like stitching on this one but sometimes I just need some instant gratification in getting a project done. I figure I will work on this in between my exchange stitching.
I am stitching it on 28ct antique white evenweave with DMC 333 & 210.

I didn't notice until I was working on it recently but I am off 1 stitch on the top right box  :(
I guess at some point I will have to frog it and re do it.

I am usually one to finish a project once I get going on them . I was reading some blogs recently and saw a few ladies say that they had about 80 UFO's!!  lol so I started thinking about how many I have and I ONLY have 4!!
I will have to pull them out and take a picture of them. Maybe that will motivate me to get them done!

Thank you all for stopping by!
Have a great weekend!

I know what you mean about exchange stitching, lol. I was in a lot of exchnages for the last couple of years and it was wonderful. I just love exchnages. But I decided to make this year a year of me-stitching. I just want to finish some of my big projects before I join the next exchanges.
Your ABC looks great and I love the colours you use for it.

Your WIP's looking lovely. I do try to finish a project too when i started one, unless if i don't have time and needed ussually gifts these days as i didn't signed up to exchanges this year--one or two but previous years i had a lot going with exchanges.

Beautiful! I love the color purple.
I have more UFO's than I can count..some of them I started when my son was little...many years ago. I don't think ever to be worked on again!
:)

Have a wonderful day,
Raggedystitches,
