Lisa V Received Her Bloggerversary Gift!

I am always so relieved when I send a stitchy item and it arrives safley to it's new home!
I heard from Lisa V that she received the bloggerversary gift I sent to her.
I stitched "Friendship Bird" by Stitchy Kitty which can be found in the Jan/Feb 2011 issue of The Gift Of Stitching. I used 30ct Hushabye Mint linen and the CC floss called for and followed the finishing instructions that were with the pattern. I LOVE his tail "feathers " which are just full skeins of CC floss.
It really was a fun stitch and pretty easy to put together.
Looking at it now his shape is like a tape dispenser LOL
This one was really hard to let go so I will just have to make another for myself at some point.

I am so glad you love it Lisa!

The kids are off from school this week for Spring break . So far it is peaceful and I hope it stays that way lol I not only have my DS but I watch 2 of the neighbors children. At least he has other kids to play with ;) The weather is gorgeous here so I will be sending them out to play soon!

I finished part 2 of the Easter SAL I am doing. I received part 3 over the weekend so I will start working on that today. I am really trying hard to keep up with this SAL. Usually I have good intentions then end up falling behind for some reason. Unfortunately I have a coupld of WIPS to prove that. Oh well! I will post a picture soon of my progress.

I am also working on a couple of exchanges in the middle of all this and I have 2 things I have stitched that are calling me to finish them. Hopefully I will get to them this week.

As always Thank You for stopping by and for all of your lovely comments! I truly appreciate them!

I'm not surprised Lisa loves it! It is gorgeous! I didn't remember seeing this in GOS so I had to go back and look at that issue again! Now I want to stitch it!
