This last round for the Perpetual Ornament Exchange on the HOE blog was for a Lizzie Kate Design. I received this adorable ornament from Melissa last week and finally have a chance to post a picture of it!
Melissa stitched this little cutie over 1 and I LOVE the string of lights she used for the hanger! I love the design she chose! It is so perfect for me :) What a wonderful idea to use one of these designs for an ornament.
I LOVE it Melissa ans I cannot wait to hang it on my tree!
My partner for this exchange was Deanne and I stitched "Cozy Christmas Wishes" for her. I used 28ct even weave and the over dyed threads called for. I am so glad she liked what I made for her. It was really a fun stitch!
Today is the first day back to school for my DS. He is now officially a 5th grader! Where has the time gone? He was very excited to go to school today. I kept tossing and turning all night and waking up to look at the clock LOL You would think it was my first day!
I will say it is pretty quiet here today. Now I have to get use to my "winter" schedule again....going to bed early & waking up very early. There are a million things I want to do today but I think I may take it easy & stitch for awhile and worry about the rest tomorrow. Then again I could just take a nap!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

What an unusual idea for Melissa to use a string of lights as a hanger - very effective!
The trim you used on 'Cosy Christmas Wishes' is so cute - and very Christmassy!
Both ornaments are lovely.
Love the ornies, and I agree about the lights as a hanger, great idea!
Hope you are keeping well my friend.
